Meet the Wranglers – The Ball Family
The wranglers are: Gary Ball, playing lead guitar, Sue Ball, rhythm and Sherry Ball Luster playing acoustic bass guitar. The family has a tight, three-part harmony and has a vast repertorie of songs including some originals.
When it comes to Western Music, the Ball Family has a rich history. The Family has sung together with their children for over 25 years! You could say it was destiny for the family as Gary and Sue both come from a heritage of Authentic Western Music! When they married – the music just continued as a duet!
The Stars at Night are Big and Bright…inside our unique indoor facility, which is built over several large Mesquite trees draped in soft twinkling lights! It has heating and cooling, so weather conditions are generally not a problem.
Folks say they feel right comfortable milling around our antique implements and western memorabilia. We even have an authentic John Deere Covered Freight Wagon on display.
After dinner, sit back and enjoy the music of the Sons of the Pioneers, Gene Autry, Bob Wills; songs Gary & Sue cut their teeth on as youngsters listening to their dads, who were both western swing musicians playing the songs of yore. You’ll enjoy some of the smoothest guitar picking and family-close three-part harmony this side of the Rio Grande when the Ball Ranch Family lays down their pots and pans and picks up their guitars. You’ll soon be drifting along with the “Tumbling Tumbleweeds” and strolling near “Cool, Clear Water” as you listen to these genuine western classics. Great western music, mix in a little comedy and family fun, and you’ve got one of the best evenings in West Texas!
Specialty programming can be arranged for birthdays, anniversaries, church groups or office parties by calling our reservation line 325-698-2186 and talking to Gary or Sue to plan your event.
